About 2 miles away, you will find a very robust & recently revitalized—always charming,  Historic Downtown Ventura with great restaurants & bars, shopping & antiquing, etc. - Lots to do & see downtown.  Day trips to Santa Barbara (25 miles) & Ojai (15 miles) are fun as well. There is more to do in this area than you will ever have time for in the course of a week!  You can have activities planned every day or you will never have to get in your car or leave the beach—depending on what you are looking for!.....
